Working on the content for the online store front for the brand dawnburn.co - There will be more to come, but I I will at least get it up and running and then add additional content as it develops. There has been good response to the photographs I have posted on Instagram so I will incorporate those images into what I create for the store.
Also, my cell phone tripod stand arrived today so I will be able to go "Live" on Instagram this weekend. The content was suggested by an Instagrammer who's work I like, and now follow. I replied to her and said I would be interested in joining a discussion on the topic if we could connect with other interested people. She had suggested Facebook, but didn't want to be the moderator of the group so I suggested that I could do that on Instagram, as I didn't mind doing a one and done type of "live" sharing. The topic is on finding the balance between traditional art making processes and tech tools to assist the making - I would like to hear what others are using and how they are using it. As I am working in illustration that is of particular interest to me because time and timing is everything when you are producing books. There is a first time for every experience, and apparently 'live content generates interest within social media groups because it is appealing to a generation that wants authenticity and to see the real deal. live, and uncut.' (Hilary Rushford - Instagram with intention with @Hilary Rushford). So that will be yet another learning experience coming up for me :) Sunday March, 11, 2018. Barring any Lucille Ball moments that should go smoothly - said no one ever working with technology ;)
